Gotham Cricket Club (“Gotham CC”) is a 501(c)(3) registered not-for-profit , New York City-based cricket club founded by cricket enthusiasts across the tri-state area in February of 2023. The founding members of Gotham CC bring to bear 10+ years of collective experience competing with and against each other across a variety of cricket leagues and exhibition fixtures in New York and New Jersey area.
Gotham CC’s membership base is one of the most robust in the region, built with the support of ~75+ active members that hail from all corners of the world and all walks of life. Our roster is comprised of both professional and amateur cricketers with the only commonality being an undying love for the great game of cricket. We welcome new members with all levels of cricketing experience.
Our club fields numerous teams, which compete across multiple red-ball and white-ball cricket leagues during the season, and also schedule friendly matches of a more social nature throughout the year. In 2023 our teams are participated in the NJ-based Millennium Cricket League and the NY-based Commonwealth Cricket League and New York National Cricket League(NYNCL). During the off-season, we plan to tour warmer parts; we toured Miami in March 2023 and plan a trip to Trinidad and Tobago in early 2024.
Off the cricket field, Gotham CC boasts a packed social calendar with happy hours and team events throughout the year where members, their families and friends have the opportunity to mix and mingle in a fun atmosphere. Follow us on Instagram to stay updated on our activities.
